Amsterdam, Summer 2022 – The news might have reached you by now, for this was our
last sales season and this will be our last Navy post.
The changes in the
fashion industry and the world at large triggered us to rethink our business and our
future. Over time, we became super flexible with our creative pop-up showrooms and
adapted to a nomad way of working. Eventually it led to the question “Is this still what
we want to do, after so many years in fashion?” The answer was a simple yet radical
“No…”
Therefore, we decided to sell our agency after 10 years, at the peak of
our success. Ten years of building Navy Agency; curating the best brand mix, using our
deep knowledge of the Benelux retail business and use our creativity, to become a
relevant player in our market. We have done so with much passion, pleasure, pride and
energy.
We are grateful to have worked with the most creative and talented people
in the industry. By getting their trust, we were able to contribute to and be part of
the success of Daily Paper, Filling Pieces, Olaf Hussein, Aspesi, Drôle De Monsieur,
Suicoke, Aries Arise, Sporty & Rich, Filson and Brooks Borthers.
